An antique Swedish painted console from the Louis XVI period, dating to the early 18th century. The piece features a beautifully hand-painted faux-marble top and delicately carved apron with rosette and foliate motifs. The original painted finish has aged gracefully, showcasing a charming patina consistent with its age. Raised on elegant, tapered legs with carved details, this console exemplifies refined Nordic craftsmanship of the Louis XVI era—a rare and decorative piece with timeless character.
There is a hole at the pine back to attach the console to the wall
Overall the console is stable and in good functional condition.
It will be packed in a wooden crate.
