This sculptural floor lamp, Model E1770, was designed by Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen for ASEA, Sweden, in the 1950s. The lamp features a black lacquered metal frame with an elegant, angular silhouette and a conical shade that offers focused directional lighting. A distinctive wrapped cane handle provides both a tactile and visual accent. The triangular wire-frame base adds to its airy and minimalist presence. This piece is labeled and represents classic Scandinavian mid-century modern lighting design at its best.
