Elegant sculptural floor lamp produced by Bergboms, Sweden, dating from the 1950s.

The lamp features a distinctive vase-shaped teak base, combined with three slender brass stems that rise gracefully at different angles. Each stem carries an elongated shade upholstered in light linen fabric, creating a soft and warm diffusion of light.

A discreet on/off switch is positioned in the centre of the base, preserving the clean and refined appearance of the design. The combination of teak, brass and textile gives the lamp a particularly elegant Scandinavian character.

The lamp was rewired during the 1980s or 1990s. One of the lamp holders was replaced at a later date. The lamp is fitted with three E14 sockets.

A decorative and atmospheric example of Swedish mid-century lighting, with a strong sculptural presence even when switched off.
