Striking 18th century oak cabinet, executed in a rich Gothic Revival style with strong architectural presence. The piece features a solid oak construction with a deep, warm patina and finely detailed hand-carved ornamentation throughout.
Restored early 20th century. Top and floor shelf are replaced as well as the internal shelf.The hangings and pulls are original.
The upper section is defined by three panelled doors with intricate gothic tracery carvings and original iron strap hinges, flanked by vertical carved panels. Below, two drawers are decorated with geometric carving and fitted with metal ring pulls, adding both texture and visual rhythm.
An open lower compartment with a stepped plinth base enhances the cabinet’s functionality while maintaining its monumental character. The sides are equally detailed with vertical paneling, reinforcing the craftsmanship from all angles.
A highly decorative yet functional piece, ideal as a statement cabinet in both classic and eclectic interiors.
